PSP gamers can rack ‘em and sink ‘em in Activision’s HUSTLE: DETROIT STREETS, a pool game developed in conjunction with one of the creators of the highly successful World Championship Snooker franchise. Players can choose to play as either Jack Stone or Kat Hudson, both down on their luck pool players at the bottom of the bracket. They begin in the dimly lit pool halls of Detroit, but, as players progress through the single-player story mode, eventually Jack or Kat will hit the big time and play for millions. Between segments in the story mode, players can also practice in the single-player single game mode, which consists of one game against an opponent of varying difficulty. Wi-Fi multiplayer modes are also available, allowing players to compete against a single opponent or set up a tournament for their friends. Through all of the different modes, players can pull off trick shots and challenges to earn extra money. This money can be spent to customize Jack or Kat by buying them new clothes and accessories or to buy new cue sticks. More accessories, cues, and pool halls are unlocked as players progress through the story mode. Pool gamers on the go will appreciate the mobility of HUSTLE: DETROIT STREETS. The story mode and Wi-Fi capabilities will keep players practicing their bank shots.
